This article comprises an instruction manual to terminate an employee within the system.
Step 1 : Navigate to Admin - Users - Search
Step 2 : Select the employee profile who needs to be terminated by clicking the “Select Employee” button
Step 3 : Find the “Terminate” button and click it to be redirected to a termination page
Step 4 : Select a manager replacement if the employee acts as a manager, Select an additional manager replacement if the employee acts as an additional manager, and similarly select replacements for a unit manager and rule approver accordingly.
Step 5 : Set a termination date from the “Termination Date” button
Step 6 : Navigate to the “Assignments” tab and check if all roster activities, tasks pending, and leaves pending to cover are appropriately handled
Step 7 : If the employee needs to adopt an offboarding workflow, navigate to the “Offboarding Workflows” tab and click on the “ Assign Workflow” button. Select a relevant workflow from the drop-down menu, enable “Send Notification” if you need the employee to be notified, and click on the “Assign” button
Upon the completion of the above-mentioned steps, you will be able to terminate an employee while making sure the termination does not affect the smooth flow of your organization.
